Nagaur Fair or Nagaur mela is celebrated by the people of Nagaur, a city in the state of Rajasthan in India. The Nagaur city lies about midway between Jodhpur and Bikaner. It is also known as the village Khatwan.
Nagaur Fair is held in the month of January-February every year and it continues for four days starting on Magh Shukla Saptmi. Every year about many thousand bullocks, cattle, camels and horses are bought and sold in this fair. This Nagaur Fair is an attraction for many tourists.
The Nagaur fort is a famous place and is of historical importance. In this fair, many visitors come from all over the world, who come to see the trading of camels, bullocks, cattle and horses by their owners colourful and beautiful attires.
