Chittaurgarh Fort

Chittorgarh Fort or as called in Rajasthani language, The Chittorgarh Qila is the largest fort in India and the grandest in the state of Rajasthan. The Chittorgarh fort is plainly known as Chittor, which was the capital of Mewar. It was ruled initially by Guhilot and later by Sisodias, the Suryavanshi of Chattori Rajputs, from Seventh century, and it was finally abandoned in 1568 after the siege by great Emperor Akbar.
