Gudi Padwa, a gudi is found hanging out of a window or ouside Home otherwise prominently displayed in traditional Maharashtrian culture. Gudi is dark green or yellow,red,blue are mostly use this colour and cloth also adorned with (zari border) tied to the tip of a long bamboo over which gathi or shakkar ki mala(sugar crystals), neem leaves if needed, a twig of mango leaves and a garland of red flowers is tied.
Maharashtrians and also other families see the Gudi.This Gudi as a symbol of victory. it also associated with the conquests of the whole Maratha cast forces led by Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj.
Gudi is celebretd firstday every year is chatra navrata.It is believed that this festival is celebrated to Ram and Seeta,lakshman post his return to Ayodhya after completing 14 years .this gudi is give the lots of fun and whole family member are enjoy this festival.All Maharashtrian culture are enjoy and Celebrated as a New Year.
